    1 Francis Terrace Mews, London, N19 5PW

Sycamore (T1) - reduce crown by up to 5m. Reason: It's a shared tree between all the Mews residents. The tree is close to neighbouring buildings with branches touching in some places and blocking a lot of light to windows. The work is aimed at retaining the tree at a more suitable size for the location so close to houses. There is also concern over the risk of subsidence, the tree is 4.5m from buildings and is 15m tall.

6, Basement And Ground Floor Maisonette, St John's Villas, London, N19 3EG

Tree species: Horse chestnut tree Number 431 on the sketch plan Proposed works: - Crown reduction by 2-3m to both height and lateral spread. All cuts to be made back to suitable growth points, retaining a balanced natural crown shape. - Crown lifting up 10m above ground level by removing lowest branches and secondary growth. This will include removal of large branches that are overhanging neighbouring garden (1 Criterion Mews) to their outbuilding. These branches are at least 5-6m long and poses a potential risk of falling and damaging the outbuilding structure if left alone. - Removal of any dead, diseased, rubbing or crossing branches. Reasons: This will be standard maintenance to ensure the tree is in good shape and grows back slowly and evenly. This is also to remove any risks of large falling branches which could pose damage to structures and persons. Works are to be carried out with proper, responsible pruning by tree surgeons who work with TPO trees. There are no records of any prior work applications having been completed for tree 431. Assume the tree has not undergone any tree works since the TPO was added in 2012 and as such there is significant overgrowth which requires maintaining.
